More goodness from sampler-cultureclash members

Well I thought I'd just do a quick post to let you know about the activities of two of the long standing members of the sampler-cultureclash collective, Yusra Warsama and Jason Singh. We are delighted to hear that performance poet, writer and actor Yusra has been chosen by Screen International as one of the rising stars of British Screen in 2012. Congratulations Yusra, all your dedication to, and hard work with your acting over the last couple of years is starting to pay off. You can see the full list and article here. As for sonic maestro Jason Singh. Jason is coming to the end of his successful six month sound artist in residence at the V&A. He has a whole list of gigs lined up over the next few months which you can find out more about on his blog. As for the other members of sampler, we are tinkering away quietly preparing for our next get together on Saturday 14 July for our event and performance at Manchester Craft and Design Centre, in partnership with Embroidery students from Manchester Metropolitan University, as part of the Centre's 30 year anniversary celebrations. A definite date for your diary. More details in my next post.
